Nigerian rapper Odumodublvck has shared an unusual dream experience, revealing that before meeting Burna Boy in person, he once dreamed about eating pounded yam with the Afrofusion superstar.
Speaking on The Afrobeats Podcast, hosted by Adesope, Odumodublvck reflected on his relationships with fellow artists, emphasizing his close bond with Rema and his admiration for Burna Boy and Skepta.
Odumodublvck: “Burna Boy Is My Spirit Animal”
“Before I met Burna Boy, I saw him in my dream, and we were eating pounded yam. Funny enough, when we met, he told me it was the first time he had eaten pounded yam in two years. This thing is not a joke!”
He further stated that he is deeply connected spiritually and dismissed those who think he exaggerates his experiences.
“They think I just cap, but I don’t. I talk about Jesus because I’m a big fan. Whatever I say, I bind it here on Earth and in heaven.”
On Rema and Seyi Tinubu
Odumodublvck also spoke about his friendship with Rema, calling him one of his closest friends in the industry. He added that he shares a personal relationship with Seyi Tinubu, clarifying that their bond is not politically motivated.
“Seyi invited me to his home for dinner because he loves my music, not because of politics. People can say whatever they want, but he is my friend.”
