Nollywood powerhouse Funke Akindele has revealed her preference when it comes to love, declaring that intelligence is one of the biggest green lights for her in a man.
Speaking in an exclusive interview with Saturday Beats, the award-winning actress and filmmaker described herself as a “lover girl” who loves deeply and goes the extra mile for her partner.
“I love intelligent men,” Akindele said. “I’m a lover girl who loves seriously. Because I’m a bit of an extremist, I go the extra mile. I’m the type that can wake up and just buy my spouse a car.”
The Battle on Buka Street director further emphasized the qualities she admires in a man, stating that genuine care and affection are non-negotiable for her.
“The green light for me is someone that pampers and checks on me genuinely. I love a positive guy and intelligent men. If you’ve given up on love, please, it will find you. Just take a chill pill, and do not force it,” she added.
