Content creator and influencer JoJo, known online as JoJooflele, has firmly denied allegations made by social media personality VeryDarkMan (VDM) that she engaged in an intimate relationship with media figure Nedu Wazobia to advance her career. VDM’s claims emerged amid his ongoing dispute with Nedu, following the latter’s interview with comedian Deeone on his podcast, ‘Honest Bunch.’ During the podcast, Deeone accused VDM of being gay, prompting VDM to retaliate by threatening to expose celebrities who allegedly had intimate relations with Nedu in exchange for professional favors. He specifically highlighted JoJo by sharing her picture, insinuating her involvement.
In response, JoJo took to her Instagram page on February 12, 2025, to address the accusations. Visibly emotional, she stated, “I have never had anything to do with Nedu.” She condemned VDM for involving her in his conflict with Nedu and emphasized that her success is a result of her dedication and hard work. “I’m crying because I have worked so hard for my brand, only for someone to give the credit to Nedu. You people want to tie my glory to someone who has never helped me,” she expressed.
JoJo further clarified that her professional interactions with Nedu were limited, mentioning that they had collaborated on only two skits. She reiterated that Nedu had no significant role in her career development and that attributing her achievements to him undermines her efforts.
