Nigerian media personality Chinedu Ani Emmanuel, popularly known as Nedu, has set the record straight regarding his exit from The Honest Bunch podcast, debunking rumors that he was fired.
The controversy erupted after an episode featuring reality TV star Deeone went viral. During the episode, Deeone alleged that social media critic VeryDarkMan (VDM) was attracted to men, sparking online backlash. In response, VDM accused Nedu of orchestrating the allegation, claiming the podcast host had been pressuring him to appear on the show since 2024 and even offered to buy him a car as an incentive.

“Let me clarify that I wasn’t fired from The Honest Bunch Podcast. I decided to step away when the attacks became personal, so that the show can go on,” he stated.
