A suspected thief was apprehended onboard an Air Peace Flight P47190 from Lagos to Port Harcourt on February 19, 2025, after being caught with stolen items. The suspect was immediately arrested upon arrival at Port Harcourt International Airport and handed over to airport police for further investigation.

Confirming the incident, Ejike Ndiulo, Head of Corporate Communications at Air Peace, stated that the suspect was identified during a thorough security check. The airline has blacklisted the individual, enforcing its zero-tolerance policy for in-flight theft and passenger misconduct.

“We confirm an incident of in-flight theft onboard Flight P47190. Air Peace remains committed to ensuring passenger safety and has taken decisive action, including blacklisting the individual involved,” Ndiulo said in a statement released Thursday, February 20, 2025.
