Controversial Nigerian singer Habeeb Okikiola, popularly known as Portable, has made a shocking revelation amid his ongoing legal troubles, stating that he is a certified psychiatric patient receiving treatment at the Federal Neuropsychiatric Hospital, Aro, Abeokuta.

The Zazoo Zeh crooner made the statement in a series of emotional rants on Instagram on Tuesday after being declared wanted by the Ogun State Police Command over allegations of assaulting state officials.

The police had accused Portable of leading a gang of nine thugs to attack three officials from the Ogun State Ministry of Physical Planning and Urban Development, who were conducting an enforcement exercise at Oke-Osa, Tigbo Ilu Ota. Reports indicated that the officials had approached Portable’s father, who was at his Odogwu Bar, requesting an approved building plan when the singer allegedly stormed the scene with a firearm and launched an attack on the officials.

Portable Speaks Out, Claims He Was Set Up
Reacting to the allegations, Portable took to social media to plead for help, claiming that he was being set up for political reasons because he wore a vest featuring the image of Senator Adeola Solomon (Yayi).

“I fear government. I am a federal government liability. I’m a madman; I have medications that I usually take. You can confirm from Aro Hospital. I have a card that certifies me as one of their patients,” he declared in a video.

The singer further insisted that he is not a criminal, stating that he helps people around him without discrimination.
