Controversial Nigerian singer, Habeeb Okikiola, popularly known as Portable, has vowed to turn over a new leaf following his release on bail after being arraigned by the Ogun State police. The Zazu crooner was granted bail to the tune of N2 million by an Ogun State Magistrate Court sitting in Isabo, Abeokuta, on Thursday after pleading not guilty to a five-count charge that included conspiracy, assault, unlawful possession of weapons, and unruly conduct.

The charges stem from an alleged assault on three officials from the Ogun Planning and Development Permit Authority (OGPDPA).Police investigations revealed that Portable and his associates confronted the officials, leading to a violent altercation.

Following his court appearance, Portable took to social media to express gratitude and declare his new focus on financial stability.”If you have God, you have everything. I need money. I am not looking for trouble anymore. I am focused on making money. I have N2 million bail debt. I need more money,” he stated in a viral video.
