Priscilla Ojo, daughter of renowned Nigerian actress Iyabo Ojo, has responded to public scrutiny regarding her father, Ademidun Ojo’s, absence from her recent wedding to Tanzanian singer Juma Jux. The couple celebrated their union in a traditional Islamic Nikkah ceremony in Tanzania on Friday, February 7, 2025.
Following the ceremony, observers speculated about a potential rift between Priscilla and her father, suggesting he was deliberately excluded from the event. To address these rumors, Priscilla shared a screenshot of a video call with her father on her Snapchat story on Sunday evening, captioning it “Daddy yo ❤️,” indicating ongoing communication and affection between them.
The absence of Ademidun Ojo at the wedding also reignited discussions about his past relationship with Iyabo Ojo. In a 2023 interview with media personality Toke Makinwa, Iyabo described her marriage to Ademidun as her first encounter with poverty, highlighting challenges during their union.
Despite these past issues, Priscilla’s recent post suggests that she maintains a relationship with her father, aiming to dispel rumors of familial discord.
