Super Falcons midfielder Deborah Abiodun has completed a season-long loan move to USL Super League club Dallas Trinity FC from Washington Spirit, marking a new chapter in her career.

The 21-year-old only signed for Washington Spirit in January 2025, after parting ways with the University of Pittsburgh, where she had a standout collegiate career. She penned a three-year contract with an option for an additional year before being sent on loan to gain regular playing time.

Why Dallas Trinity FC?
Dallas Trinity FC, a professional women’s soccer team based in Dallas-Fort Worth, plays in the USL Super League, which operates alongside the NWSL as the top tier of women’s soccer in the United States. The move presents an opportunity for Abiodun to develop further in a competitive environment before returning to Washington Spirit at the end of the season.
