Nollywood actor Uche Maduagwu has slammed legendary singer Innocent Idibia, aka 2Baba, for publicly proposing to Edo State lawmaker, Natasha Osawaru, while still entangled in a divorce saga with Annie Idibia.
The viral proposal video, which surfaced online, sparked mixed reactions, with Maduagwu openly criticizing 2Baba’s decision to make the proposal public instead of handling it privately.
In an Instagram post, Maduagwu questioned the singer’s intentions, suggesting that the move was a deliberate distraction to divert public attention from pressing questions surrounding his marital troubles.
“This is wickedness. If he had good intentions, why didn’t he propose to Natasha in private? Is he not still legally married to Annie, or have they finalized the divorce? He needed this attention to distract Nigerians from asking the real questions,” Maduagwu wrote.
He further accused the singer of engaging in a calculated public stunt, asking:
“When did you and Natasha Oni Kaba start dating? Was it before you and Annie separated or while you were still living together in the same house? Did Annie know about it? Was this why her attitude towards you changed? Story plenty, I dey come.”
