Nigerian crossdresser and socialite, Bobrisky, has revealed heartbreaking details about his mother’s passing during the 2008 Hajj pilgrimage in Mecca, Saudi Arabia.

In a now-deleted Instagram post, Bobrisky recounted their final conversation just hours before her death. She had asked him to take care of his siblings if she didn’t make it back to Nigeria, a responsibility he has carried ever since.

“Mummy!!! Mummy!!! I miss calling you that. It breaks my heart into pieces. A lot happened after you left, but we still thank God for life. I remember on October 28, 2008, you called me and said, ‘Bobo omo mi, in case I don’t make it back, please take care of your brother.’”

According to Bobrisky, his late mother believed he had the resilience to handle the family’s burdens. Since her passing, he has shouldered the responsibility of caring for his maternal grandmother—who is now 87 years old—and his elder brother, including his wife and two children.

The revelation has sparked emotional reactions, with many sympathizing with the controversial personality over his struggles since 2024.
