Nigerian striker Jerome Adams has set his sights on making a mark at LaLiga giants Sevilla while keeping his Super Eagles dream alive ahead of the 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers.
The 25-year-old forward, who joined Sevilla permanently from Montpellier in January, has endured a frustrating spell due to injury, managing just one appearance for the Rojiblancos. However, Adams remains focused on regaining top form and earning a regular place in Nigeria’s squad.
“Right now, my full focus is on Sevilla. The club has important goals this season, and the better I perform here, the more chances I’ll have to play for the Super Eagles,” Adams said during an interview with LaLiga and top Nigerian journalists.
The former Ligue 1 star was recently included in Nigeria’s provisional squad for the upcoming World Cup qualifiers against Zimbabwe and Rwanda, highlighting his potential role in José Peseiro’s plans.
With Sevilla battling for a strong finish in LaLiga, Adams’ return to full fitness could be crucial for both club and country as he looks to cement his place in European football and Nigeria’s national team setup.
