Nigerian singer Teniola Apata, popularly known as Teni, has opened up about her recent health struggles, revealing that despite her wealth, she was left debilitated by malaria for two weeks. In a video shared on Instagram, the Billionaire crooner was seen on a hospital bed receiving treatment, highlighting the severity of her illness.

Teni recounted how she felt extremely weak and unable to eat, leading to noticeable weight loss. Despite her condition, she pushed herself to perform in Ondo to fulfill her obligations, emphasizing that refunds were not an option.

She used the moment to call on Oba Elegushi, the traditional ruler of Ikate, Lagos, urging immediate action to tackle the area’s mosquito problem. “Malaria held me down, I went through a lot. I was weak and down for two weeks. I couldn’t eat. Oba Elegushi, we need to do something about the mosquitoes in Ikate,” she wrote.
