Nigerians have admired the courage of a lady who recently called off her traditional and white wedding on the basis of domestic violence.
The lady yesterday took to her social media handle to declare her decision to cancel the wedding which would have held on the 15th of April 2022, between her and one Mr. David Okike.
In the post seen online, she said her reason for the cancellation of the marriage was domestic violence,which was not a part of their agreement in the marriage.
Nigerians reacting to the post hailed her for her bravery and bold step to stop herself from entering a marriage which will be a lifetime of torture and called on other ladies not to hesitant to do so too.
These reactions were spurred due to the recent death of a popular gospel singer as a result of domestic violence.
