Nwangele is eventually turning out to be a place of unprecedented activities, but today, our focus is on the latest of these never before seen community social responsibility.
Last Sunday, 3rd November, 2017, a son of the soil of Amuzi in Dim-Na-Nume took the shine of the day as all of Nwangele joined him to his Massive Road Grading Initiative at the Umuokem, Agbaja road.
According to the initiator of the project, Hon Amara Chyna Iwuanyanwu, he took on the project to celebrate his patriarch and father, a political guru and excellent businessman Chief Chyna Iwuanyanwu.
Amara who is also a serious contender for the Imo State House of Assembly Seat, said that the grading of the Umuokem road is the first among the 2 kilometres of road he has mapped out to grade in each of the wards that make up Nwangele.
He testified to God’s goodness in his life and that of his father indicating that it was this grace that was the genesis of his present initiative rather than to score cheap political points.
The newly knighted Sir Amara, beckoned on all of Nwangele to support his initiative to see that the roads of Nwangele are expressly motorable for the yuletide.
Present at the occasion were Chief Apala, a political heavy weight in the USA, Barr Jude Uzoukwu, Chief Oberedu, Chief Zikland, Mr Morrison Onwukwe, APC Chieftains, APC ward Chairmen, community leaders and well wishers.
