ormer Arsenal and Chelsea defender, William Gallas, has predicted that Manchester United midfielder, Paul Pogba, will leave the club for Paris Saint-Germain at the end of the season.

Gallas believes Pogba is not mentally strong enough to produce great performances for Man United every week.

Pogba has been often criticized by Man United faithful over his performance for the Red Devils in recent seasons.

The France World Cup winner was recently booed off the pitch by his own fans against Norwich City.

His departure from Old Trafford looks inevitable as he went off injured early in Man United’s 4-0 defeat to Liverpool earlier this week.

The former Juventus star is now a doubt for Man United’s Premier League must-win game at Arsenal as his contract with the Red Devils will expire at the end of the season.

“It looks like he [Pogba] has [played his last game for Man United] because he has had a difficult season, so that is why a lot of people are criticizing him,” Gallas told Genting Casino.

“I know he was injured, but before, he was inconsistent and we ask players for consistency, especially when you have that ability in the team like Pogba has.

“To play in the Premier League is really difficult. It is really tough, there is a lot of intensity and you have to repeat your performance almost every game, it is not easy.

“Some players can do it because they are strong in their minds. Some players can’t do it, they play one game and their level will be very high and then in the two next games, they will be average.

“For the quality that Pogba has, you need to be consistent so that is why people are a little angry with him.

“He’s not [mentally] strong enough and his performances show he’s not strong enough to be consistent for one season.

“He only did it when he was at Juventus and then he joined Man United. Since then, he has not had that consistency, so he’s not strong enough. There are not too many clubs who can sign him, so maybe he will go to PSG.”
