Stakeholders, including traditional chieftains and religious leaders in the Cross River Central Senatorial District, have cautioned electorates in the region to be careful not to vote for the wrong person during next year’s senatorial election.

They spoke separately in Boki and Ikom local government areas of the state when former Nigeria Ports Authority chairman, Chief Akin Rickets consulted them over his aspiration to be given a ticket to represent the APC as a senatorial candidate for the district.

In their separate speeches, Bishop Chris Obase, Kingsley Egume, Kingsley Bassey, Ojong Eba, Amos Ijow, all key functionaries in the district warned that if wrong candidates are elected next year it will impact negatively on the area and the state at large.
