Ekiti Governor Kayode Fayemi has commented on his 2023 presidential ambition.

The All Progressives Congress (APC) chieftain said he’s yet to declare because consultations are still on.

The Chairman of the Nigeria Governors Forum (NGF) spoke after a visit to Ondo State on Thursday.

He also met the Olowo of Owo, Oba Gbadegesin Ogunoye III; the Deji Of Akure, Oba Aladetoyinbo Aladelusi; the Osemawe of Ondo, Oba Victor Ademefun Kiladejo, and Afenifere leader, Pa Reuben Fasoranti.

Fayemi noted that leadership is service, sacrifice and duty, “not an ambition”.

“I am not yet an aspirant. My next political move will be based on the outcome of the consultations that I am currently conducting with stakeholders across the country.
