Top officials of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) have stormed the Federal High Court in Abuja to honour the court’s summons to show cause why the party’s May 28 presidential primary should be stopped.

The summon was issued last Thursday following an ex-parte application by one
Cosmos Ndukwe seeking to stop the planned presidential primary of the party due to alleged failure to zone the presidential ticket to South East among others.

Justice Donatus Okorowo issued the court order in a ruling on the ex-parte application argued by a Senior Advocate of Nigeria SAN, Paul Erokoro.
