The management and union of traders in Alaba international market, Owerri has announced the total lockdown of the market come 9th June 2022.

The closing of shops and businesses in the international market on Thursday is to enable all traders in the market to register for their Permanent voter’s cards PVCs.

This statement was released today by members of the market association stating that this action is a result of the resolution of youths and other well-meaning Nigerians to elect a candidate of competence come 2023.
