A Pan Niger Delta Born Youth Leader, Ex – Agitator and former Councilor who represented Ward 18 Ughelli South in the immediate past Local Government Administration Hon. Mere Williams has commended the policies of the Presidential Amnesty Interim Administrator Col. Milland Dikio’s as embedded in his Agenda.
Hon. Mere Williams who commended the policies of the Amnesty Boss while calling on President Muhammadu Buhari to extend the appointment of the Col. Milland Dikio made this known in a stakeholders meeting of Ex- Agitators which was held at Jabin Olori Motel Ughelli, Ughelli North Local Government head Quarters of Delta State.
Hon. Mere emphasized on the TEM( Train, Mentor, and Employ Agenda of Dikio and his leadership style. The Ex – Agitator and Niger Delta Youth leader said, with the leadership style of Dikio, no ex- Agitator is willing to go back to the creek, he said all the ex- agitators are willing to live a meaningful life after they have gone through mentorship and training.
Speaking further, Mere said Dikio is not one of those administrators who enjoys traveling abroad abandoning their duties. Dikio has devoted spending all his time with ex -agitators, calculating how to give ex- militants meaningful living in the society .
Mere who took a swipe at his colleagues during the meeting, admonish them to support Dikio in order for the Amnesty Boss to achieve the needed result of the program. He said as he speaks, Dikio is fully on course of the integral part of the program which is the reintegration exercise.
He said the program comprises of three phases, the disarmament, demobilization and the reintegration which is the component part of the program.
On the newly deployment of Ex- Agitators to vacate various training center as part of the reintegration exercise, Mere Commended the Amnesty Boss for the deployment. Mere said this has further compliment the desires and yearnings of the ex- Agitators.
Dikio has come up with the best format of reinterpretation TEM, Train, Mentor and Employ. I am calling on all ex -agitator, stakeholders to support the Dikio’s led administration for this is a rare privilege to have someone like Dikio he said.
