Upon further investigation of the case involving the young children from World Bank, New Owerri, who were abused by their stepmother and father, it was discovered that their biological mother is still alive.

Our priority immediately shifted from bringing justice to the perpetrators of the act to reuniting the children with their families.

We verified their identities and statements before making them sign a surety which gave them temporary custody of the children.

While we await the decision of the court on the litigations against their father and stepmother, the children will be protected and provided for by their biological mother and her family.

The children positively responded to the update and have now been released from our custody. Once again, we extend our sincere gratitude to all parties involved in this case for their efforts.
