A loaded tanker has fallen in the Costain area of Lagos on Tuesday.

It was gathered that the tanker fell while ascending the Costain bridge heading towards Iponri.

The tanker blocked the main carriageway while spilling its fuel content.

According to reports by the Lagos State Traffic Management Agency on Twitter, emergency services are on the scene and traffic is being diverted.

It said, “An Accident involving a loaded tanker happened while ascending the Costain Bridge in Iponri, blocking access to the road. “Counter-flow is now being adopted. Men on ground.
