Acharaman LMG 2Blac

Valencia Lounge’s Disk Jockey, DJ Cruz said that by shunning his plea to perform at his Christmas day Gaga Mask Party, the trio of Acharaman, LMG and 2Blac betrayed him.
Dj Cruz spoke to www.otowngist.com after it emerged that the trio failed to perform at the event because he refused to mention what he was going to pay them before their performance at the event which took place on Christmas day at Valencia Lounge and Resorts Owerri, Imo State.
“When we have problem the first person we run to is our friend and I felt I was dealing with my friends only for them to shun me and leave my event.
I told them that I cannot mention a particular figure for them because I know that when it comes to value, I cannot afford to pay for their real worth. I begged them as friends to stay and perform, promising to appreciate them after their performances but they chose to leave instead”
Against reports on other websites, Dj Cruz and other artistes we spoke said the departure of the trio did not affect the size of the crowd in any way.
“It is just like market, if one person fails to come, nobody will notice that. There were other big names at after their departure and they all worked with the condition I put on ground” He added.
Cruz confirmed that Aifee received a package from him, while the likes of Aizbag, Zona, Redloaf, D7, Rydas and XBusta.
LMG in a chat with www.nocmusic1.wordpress.com said ‘the industry is business’ and he also denied having any personal relationship with DJ Cruz that will qualify them as friends to the level is talking about.
Although DJ Cruz has tried to clear himself, people like him are not needed in the entertainment industry of the state. People who will collect gate fee and refuse to make a concrete plan for artistes; people who will used the name of artistes for radio adverts just to increase their crowd and revenue; people who would love to spend so much on guest artistes but nothing on the homegrown artistes.
These kinds of people are the reason why most artistes climb the stage twice a week but end up not having money to feed themselves.
Also reacting to the statement made by DJ Cruz, 2Blac said he tried to cheat them, stating that they would have said no to any figure if DJ Cruz had played according to their rules.
“He wanted to trick us into performing at the event and that is not good at all. If I invited him for a show as a DJ, I will surely tell him what I will pay before he will agree to come. Why can’t he treat us the same way? Show promoters should just learn from this and do things right” 2Blac said.
