The Federal Road Safety Corps, Cross River State Sector Command, is set to clamp down on vehicles without genuine number plates, asking owners of the affected vehicles to rectify them or risk being arrested.

The warning was contained in a statement issued by the spokesman of the Command, Mark Ajuka, on behalf of the Sector Commander.

The statement partly read, “As directed by the management of Federal Road Safety Corps Headquarters, Abuja, all motorists, tricyclists, and motorcyclists whose vehicles don’t have number plates or those that do not have genuine number plates are by this press release reminded to go to the relevant agency and rectify them immediately.”
