The PPrelate of Methodist Church Nigeria, His Eminence Dr Samuel Uche has said that he will be “Obedient” during 2023 Presidential election.
Prelate Uche who spoke during a sermon in Owerri made soft joke about his Political Adviser Rt. Rev. Sunday Onuoha whom the prelate said he would have voted for, if he was from Abia State.
Bishop OOnuoha who is the African Democratic Party ADP candidatw in Abia State was present at the Valedictory and reception service held by the Methodist Archdiocese of Aba for Dr. S. C. K. Uche who will be retiring as the Prelate of Methodist Church Nigeria.
Dr. Uche who wil be replaced by Most Rev. Oliver Abba, the Archbishop of Benue Diocese is touring Archdioceses of the church ahead of his retirement.
Speaking during the sermon, he said that everyone will be remembered by what they have done, calling on everyone to be conscious of what they do with the positions they have.
He said their is blessing in service urging members of the church to focus on servicing God as his rewards are eternal.
The service was held at All Saints Methodist Church World Bank New Owerri, Imo state in Owerri Diocese where the outgoing Prelate previously served as a bishop.
