The presidential flagbearer of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Senator Ahmed Bola Tinubu, has said that without the due diligence of the party governors, he would not have become the candidate.

“You firmly stood by me at the hours of needs during the Primary Contests of our Party and that made me the Candidate of the APC and that is a great source of pride because others are still battling their governors,” he said.

Speaking during a series of meetings with Ullamas and some pastors, Tinubu insisted that the position of governors on him has given him more courage and determination in gunning for the exalted seat.

He said, “PDP has spend 16 years ruling the nation but failed woefully to understand that power is the main economic driver without which one will be running a borrowed economic which would not make any impact on his citizens”.

Tinubu reminded PDP that in the last 16 years, they spent $16 billion on power, but the nation is still facing frequent outages coupled with transmission failures.

Tinubu further urged Nigerians against voting for somebody who will give them 50 percent of attention and give the remaining to Dubai.
