Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN), Kaduna State chapter, has said the country will overcome the political, economic and security challenges orchestrated by bad leadership.

The Chairman, Rev. John Hayab, during a Christmas carol in Kaduna, on Sunday, with the theme ‘The Saviour is Born’, insisted that Nigeria and Nigerians need God’s intervention to overcome the various challenges, in 2023.

Like Mary found favour before God, help is on the way for the people of Kaduna and the country at large, he said, while urging Christians to embrace the joy that accompanies the Christmas season and celebrate with one another in sacrifice and love.

His words: “Nigeria’s problem today needs divine intervention, and God is willing to do something. We believe He is going to do it. At Christmas, Mary found favour with God. So our message this Christmas is that God is going to show Nigeria favour. We have suffered.

We have been in pain. We have been crying, but favour is coming our way in 2023.”
