The presidential candidate of the Labour Party, Peter Obi, has said his administration would prioritise job creation, education, agriculture, economy and other sectors if elected.

He also pledged that his administration will consult with Academic Staff Union of Universities leadership to ensure that universities are not locked down.

Obi disclosed these at a state rally in Owerri, Imo State, on Tuesday.

The LP presidential candidate also reiterated his commitment to providing jobs and turning the country from consumption to production.

He said that Imo people can begin to export palm seeds if he becomes the next president.

The former Anambra state governor said rural people across the country would feel the impact of his administration if he wins the February 25 presidential election.

 He said, “ASUU will not go on strike if you make me president and Datti vice president. We will have a dialogue with them. We will work with the students. The future of any serious country is dependent on its education and health sectors. I will invest heavily in those sectors if you elect us.
