A Nigerian man who lives in Dubai has revealed that he flew back to the country for the 2023 general elections. The software developer known as Mac Donald said he is traveling to vote for the Labour Party presidential candidate, Peter Obi. According to the young man, he and about 19 others stormed the international airport to head back for the presidential polls which comes up on February 25th.
Mac Donald with Twitter username @iboboi007, shared a photo of himself at the airport with other people believed to be Nigerians pushing their luggage.
He wrote; “About 20 of us that wants good governance are currently at the airport, coming back by exactly 18:45 today to vote for H.E Peter Obi. Nobody has monopoly of traveling to vote… We are taking back Nigeria from evil minded fellows.”
