Former Chelsea man, Chris Sutton has told the club to buy back their sold striker, Tammy Abraham.
Sutton believes that the England international could cure the Blues’ woes in front of goal if they can get him back for £68 million this summer.
Chelsea allowed the striker to join Italian side Roma in 2021, following the west London side’s record £97.5m deal for Romelu Lukaku.
Abraham went on to score 27 goals in his debut campaign at the Stadio Olimpico.
Lukaku was sent back to Inter Milan on loan after just one season back at Stamford Bridge.
Chelsea wants to bring in a prolific striker this summer and the club has been linked with Napoli star Victor Osimhen.
“Tammy Abraham is an out-and-out No.9 and Chelsea decided to let him go,” Sutton told Betting Sites.
“That was a bit of a strange one.
“Buying Tammy back is one of those that I could see happening. I think he’s done pretty well at Roma.
“So I actually think £68m would be a smart piece of business to bring Tammy Abraham back to Chelsea.”
