After her last single ‘Much pain’, dedicated to hearts broken people, especially victims of Valentine Day’s deception, singer, Floxy is increasing the tempo of her music to dancehall, with the release of a new single titled ‘Are you ready’.
The single, which is billed to drop on Friday, May 16, 2014, which happened to be her birthday, will be her fourth in the industry.
Like the title ‘Are you ready’, Floxy said the song will mark the beginning of big things in her career.
She said, “I started with ‘competition’ last year and it felt good to be an artiste. With ‘I gat you’ where I featured my elder brother, KozyG dropping the same year, everyone realized I wasn’t a fluke.
I love music and there is nothing else I want to do with my life but music, and having seen what the likes of Yemi Alade and Cynthia Morgan have done recently, I believe there’s no limit for a lady in the industry and I am ready to go the distance”
She went ahead to say that the titled of the song is a question for the world, because she is loaded with nothing but mind-blowing tracks and nothing less than that will come from her any more.
“I am ready to show the world what I have, but the question is, Are you ready for me?”
‘Are you ready’ will be released online on Friday, May 16, 2014, while radio airplay will commence before then.
