The Sector Commander of the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) in Taraba State, Dabba A. Bello, has dispelled widespread notions linking the ember months with superstitious practices often referred to as ‘juju’ operations.

Speaking during a courtesy visit by officials of the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ), Taraba State Council, Bello clarified the misconceptions surrounding the supposed heightened risks during the ember months.

In his office at the Taraba State Command of the FRSC, Bello emphasized that the ember months—September, October, November, and December—coincide with the dry season, marked by special occasions such as weddings, thanksgiving, and festive ceremonies, leading to increased road activities.
