The Nigerian Police has presented cheques worth over N110 million to the families of 33 deceased officers.

The cheques, issued on behalf of the Inspector General of Police, Olukayode Egbetokun, are part of the IGP Family Welfare and Group Life Assurance Schemes usually presented to the next of kin of deceased officers.

Presenting the cheques to the beneficiaries at the command headquarters in Asaba, Commissioner of Police Wale Abass expressed his appreciation for the IGP’s generosity.
