Palace are bracing for the potential departure of Michael Olise, their standout performer last season. The French U-21 international was instrumental, netting 10 goals and providing six assists in 19 Premier League matches during the 2023-24 campaign.
Chelsea are reportedly leading the chase for Olise, and a swap deal involving Noni Madueke has been mooted. However, with Olise’s likely exit, Palace are looking at Nelson as a viable replacement. The 24-year-old forward has expressed a desire to move on from Mikel Arteta’s squad in search of greater opportunities.
