Chelsea midfielder Andrey Santos has expressed high praise for the club’s latest signing, Estevao Willian, highlighting the young talent’s “huge potential” and calling him “the face of Brazilian football.”

Chelsea recently secured a deal to sign the 17-year-old from Palmeiras, with Willian set to join the team when he turns 18 next year.

Santos shared his admiration for Willian on the Fora do Jogo podcast, recalling a conversation they had. “I spoke to Estevao when he went to play in Colombia. He messaged me saying, ‘man, I really admire you, how you managed to make a difference here in this climate at this altitude,’ and I told him, ‘man, it’s difficult but you are going to make it,’” Santos said.
