The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has officially released the results for candidates who participated in the 2024 supplementary Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME). The supplementary exams took place on Friday, June 21, and Saturday, June 22, 2024.

Fabian Benjamin, the board’s spokesman, announced the results on Friday morning. The supplementary exams were conducted for 28,835 candidates who were unable to be biometrically verified during the main 2024 UTME and thus could not take their initial exams. Additionally, candidates suspected of engaging in examination malpractices during the main UTME were given a second chance to sit for the exams.

The board emphasized that the supplementary examination was a success nationwide, with heightened security measures in place to prevent any examination infractions. Several individuals attempting to impersonate genuine candidates were apprehended and handed over to law enforcement for further investigation and prosecution.

JAMB reiterated its commitment to ensuring that no candidate benefits from any form of malpractice by employing advanced technology before, during, and after examinations. Candidates are urged to avoid any irregularities during their exams and refrain from soliciting score upgrades from fraudsters or altering their result sheets to generate fake scores.

To check their supplementary UTME results, candidates should send “UTMERESULT” to either 55019 or 66019 using the same phone number they used to generate their profile codes during registration.
