Content creator and actress Kemi Ikuseedun, known widely as Mummy Wa, the fictional wife of skit maker Mr. Macaroni, has advised young women to seek alternative means of survival instead of engaging in ‘hook-up’ activities.

Speaking with Saturday Beats, Mummy Wa remarked, “A lot of people are doing different things to survive in Nigeria, and it is crazy. However, I don’t advise people to engage in ‘hook-up’, whether digitally or physically. There are other ways to make money and survive.”

She also shared her delight in playing the role of Mr. Macaroni’s on-screen wife. “The best part of playing Mummy Wa is actually acting alongside Mr. Macaroni. He is a wonderful person, and I am just so happy playing the character,” she said.

Recently, Ikuseedun posted a video collage of her journey from humble beginnings. When asked about the motivation behind the post, she explained, “I was inspired to share the video because my movie is coming out soon. I am very happy about it. For some people, it might not mean anything, but this thing that started small for me has become a whole lot. It is something I have always wanted to do, and I am happy that I have done it, and will still do even more.”
