President of the Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC), Joe Ajaero, has confirmed that he will honor the invitation from the Nigeria Police Force on Wednesday, August 29, 2024. The invitation relates to serious allegations, including criminal conspiracy, terrorism financing, treasonable felony, subversion, and cybercrime.

Ajaero, through his legal representatives at Falana and Falana Chambers, communicated the date to the Inspector General of Police, emphasizing his readiness to cooperate with the authorities. However, he also requested detailed information regarding the nature of the allegations against him.

In a letter signed by Samuel Ogala, Ajaero’s legal team asserted, “Ajaero is prepared for your interview on Wednesday, August 29, 2024. Furthermore, in accordance with the provisions of Section 36 of the Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, 1999 as altered, Ajaero requests the details and nature of the allegations of criminal conspiracy, terrorism financing, treasonable felony, subversion, and cybercrime leveled against him.”
