Vice President Kashim Shettima, former Vice President and 2023 PDP presidential candidate Atiku Abubakar, and former Labour Party presidential candidate Peter Obi were seen together in Katsina on Tuesday as they attended the burial of Hajiya Dada, the mother of late President Umaru Musa Yar’Adua.

The three political heavyweights arrived in Katsina to pay their respects and were captured riding in the same vehicle to the residence of the Yar’Adua family. The solemn gathering marked a rare moment of unity among prominent figures who competed in the 2023 presidential election.

Hajiya Dada, aged 102, passed away on Monday after a brief illness at the Federal Teaching Hospital, Katsina. She was also the mother of the late Shehu Musa Yar’Adua and Senator Abdulaziz Musa Yar’Adua, the current Chairman of the Senate Committee on Army.
