Victor Osimhen boarded a private jet to Nigeria on Wednesday night shortly after being unveiled as Galatasaray’s newest signing. The 25-year-old striker secured a season-long loan move from Napoli to the Turkish giants, putting an end to weeks of uncertainty about his future in Italy.

With the transfer now complete, Osimhen is heading to Uyo, Akwa Ibom state, to join his Super Eagles teammates ahead of their crucial 2025 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) qualifier against Benin Republic. He is expected to be the last arrival at the team’s camp.
