Nigerian activist Martins Vincent Otse, widely known as VeryDarkMan (VDM), has issued a strong warning to the Lord’s Chosen Church, threatening legal action over what he calls “misleading testimonies” shared by its members. The outspoken critic has also called on the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) to investigate the church, accusing it of promoting exaggerated and unrealistic claims that mislead the public.

VDM’s frustration stems from a viral testimony given last week, in which a female member of the church claimed to have disarmed four armed robbers, seizing what she initially described as an “AK-27.” The pastor reportedly corrected her, saying it was an AK-47. This incident, according to VDM, is just one of many outlandish testimonies coming from the church.

In a video posted on his Instagram page, VDM expressed his outrage, vowing to take legal steps to put an end to what he described as misleading claims. He also questioned the validity of testimonies, citing bizarre instances where members claimed to have supernatural iron implanted in their heads for protection.

He further wrote, “CHRISTIAN ASSOCIATION OF NIGERIA, get ready for me ooo. This nonsense needs to stop. Now they’re even claiming to have spiritual iron in their heads? All these Chosen members…”

VDM’s move comes as a broader call for accountability within religious organizations, emphasizing the need for CAN to scrutinize claims and ensure that faith-based institutions maintain credibility without misleading the public.
