Rangers International’s technical adviser, Fidelis Ilechukwu, has identified Remo Stars as the strongest contenders for the 2024-25 Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) title. In a recent media briefing in Lagos, Ilechukwu emphasized the strength of the Sky Blue Stars, placing them ahead of other top teams like Kano Pillars, Enyimba, and Shooting Stars in this season’s title race.
Despite Rangers’ own reputation, Ilechukwu humbly downplayed his team’s chances of retaining the title, citing their recent continental exit. He said, “Remo Stars, currently topping the NPFL standings with nine points, are the team to beat this season. We will watch from the sidelines as we rebuild our form.”
