The World Economic and Investment Forum (WEIFORUM) 2025 is gearing up to be a key platform for connecting African-made goods with international markets.

Taking place from November 20 to 30, 2025, in Bere, Brazil, this forum promises to bolster trade relationships and open new investment avenues for African businesses, especially in sectors like agriculture, technology, and manufacturing.

Hon. Nwabueze George, President of the Globe Chamber of Commerce and Industry, emphasized the significance of WEIFORUM in connecting African businesses to the world. “We are determined to change the narrative of global trade by positioning African-made goods at the forefront of international trade,” George noted.

Brazil’s growing influence as an emerging economy makes it a perfect destination for African goods. The forum will feature various events aimed at fostering economic partnerships between African and global business leaders. “This event is a critical moment for African businesses looking to expand globally. We are creating direct trade opportunities,” George added.

WEIFORUM 2025 will also focus on multilateral partnerships, addressing trade barriers, and exploring investment opportunities, with specific emphasis on increasing Africa’s global competitiveness. With Brazil’s strong ties to Africa through trade agreements and cultural connections, this year’s forum will serve as a significant bridge for both regions.
