Globally acclaimed Nigerian author Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie has announced her much-anticipated return to fiction with her new novel Dream Count, marking her first novel in 10 years. The novel, set to be released on March 3, 2025, will be published by 4th Estate in the UK and Knopf in the US.

Adichie took to Instagram to share the news, describing Dream Count as “serious, curious, probing, and funny.” She expressed pride and excitement in completing the novel, noting the writing process was both challenging and rewarding. “I am deeply excited about this book. I am so proud to have finished it,” Adichie said.

Dream Count weaves together the lives of four women navigating personal crises, longing, and self-discovery. It promises to explore universal themes of love, happiness, and the complexities of human relationships.
