Dr. Basilia Igbokwe, the newly appointed Rector of Federal Polytechnic Nekede (FEDPONEK), has officially begun implementing her 11-point agenda, starting with a strategic visit to the Nekede Ancient Kingdom. During the visit, she assured the host community of her commitment to a healthy relationship that would enhance the institution’s progress and benefit all stakeholders.
Meeting with Eze Dr. SK Agumanu, the traditional ruler of Nekede, Igbokwe stressed that her administration prioritizes collaboration with the community for mutual growth. This visit marks the first step toward fulfilling her agenda of inclusive development, focusing on ensuring that the polytechnic and its surrounding community work hand-in-hand to address pressing issues.
