The incident, which occurred in Majia, Jigawa State, resulted in 94 fatalities as locals attempted to collect fuel from an overturned tanker. This catastrophic event highlights the critical need for adherence to safety regulations and emergency response procedures to mitigate the dangers associated with vehicular accidents involving flammable substances.
Mohammed urged the public to maintain a safe distance from accident scenes, especially those involving hazardous materials.
