Former Kogi State Governor Yahaya Bello has once again appeared before the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) regarding allegations of fund misappropriation during his tenure. Accompanied by his legal team, Bello arrived at the anti-graft agency’s office on Tuesday morning in a black Toyota Hilux, following the Supreme Court’s recent dismissal of a suit challenging the EFCC’s constitutionality.
The EFCC’s investigation into Bello is part of ongoing efforts to address alleged financial irregularities involving state funds. The former governor had previously attended a hearing on November 14, where the agency sought an adjournment until November 27 to allow the 30-day summons period to elapse.
