Arsenal legend Thierry Henry has named Bukayo Saka as his favorite player in the current Gunners squad, praising the winger for his remarkable rise through the ranks.
Saka, who came through Arsenal’s academy, has become one of the most influential players in the Premier League and a key figure in both club and country setups.
Speaking to the BBC, Henry admitted he didn’t foresee Saka achieving such heights early in his career but expressed admiration for the 23-year-old’s work ethic and talent.
“I have a soft spot for him. He’s my favorite player. He’s been there for a long time. He’s so nice. I never thought he was going to reach the level we’re seeing,” Henry said.
The former Arsenal captain also revealed he recently challenged Saka to improve his free-kick technique as part of his continued development.
Henry’s endorsement adds to the growing list of accolades for Saka, who has consistently delivered stellar performances for the North London club this season.
