Edo Queens FC has been shortlisted for the prestigious 2024 CAF Women’s Club of the Year award alongside African champions TP Mazembe and AS FAR of Morocco. This announcement was made by the Confederation of African Football (CAF) on Thursday, ahead of the ceremony scheduled to take place in Marrakech, Morocco, on Monday, December 16.

The Benin City-based team, coached by Moses Aduku, had an impressive year, clinching the WAFU B Women’s Champions League title earlier and securing a fourth-place finish at the CAF Women’s Champions League last month. Edo Queens now stand on the brink of history as they aim to become the first Nigerian club to claim this coveted accolade.
